Sundays at Reston Presbyterian

The people of Reston Presbyterian are warm and friendly. Many joining us for the first time remark how welcomed they feel as they cross our threshold. You will know a few names before you even sit down!

Those attending on Sundays represent a variety of religious backgrounds, ages, stages of life and spiritual journeys. In addition, you will see a variety of dress levels, so please come dressed as you prefer.

11:00AM*

*Masks optional.

Our worship service is filled with thoughtful elements such as sermons (click here to hear them), sacraments, music, prayers, testimonies, to confessions and creeds.  These are all crafted to help us focus on the Gospel of Jesus Christ from our Reformed perspective.  We believe the Gospel is for everyone: the young and old, the married, singe, divorced and widowed, to the hurting, the skeptic, to the curious and to those who have been Christians for many years!

Kids

Please click here to learn about our amazing RPC Kids Ministry “God’s Kids”  for 5-11 year olds that meets during 11:00 worship service.

Nursery: infants thru 4 years.

Gathering Room: This space is available to use at all our worship services and meetings, this is a quiet and comfortable space with a live feed of the service.

Courses for adults & youth

We have great courses offered throughout most of the year. These are designed to promote a deeper faith and better relationships.  We have classes for adults and teens. Read more here to learn about our most current offerings.  In addition you can  check our calendar to see information about current classes.

Communion

We celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of the month.

After Worship

After the service is over, please join us for coffee, tea, and snacks. This is a great opportunity to get to know the church family a little better.

Prayer

It is our distinct privilege to pray for you. The Elders welcome the opportunity and Biblical responsibility to pray for healing with any who would seek it according to James 5:14-16. After each worship service, an elder and his wife will be at the front of the sanctuary to pray privately with anyone requesting prayer. You can also request prayer by appointment by emailing the church. Once a month, the Elders have a dedicated meeting to pray for the congregation and the world, holding up the needs of the church including the submitted prayer requests.
